Broome High School to Host First Annual Centurion Football Jamboree August 20

Hal McManus, Athletic Director of Broome High School, has announced details for the First Annual Centurion Football Jamboree. Six teams with rich football traditions will be participating in the event: Broome High School, Belton Honea Path High School, Chesnee High School, Greer High School, Byrnes High School and Rock Hill High School. More than 15 South Carolina Football State Championships have been won between the six teams.

The Centurion Football Jamboree will take place on August 20, 2009 at Broome High Schools� Royal Stadium. All teams will play two consecutive quarters against the same opponent. Admission is $6.00.

The schedule for games is as follows:

7:00 p.m. � Broome vs. Belton Honea Path
8:00 p.m. � Chesnee vs. Greer
9:00 p.m. � Byrnes vs. Rock Hill

�We are very excited about the jamboree, and we feel that we have the perfect facility to host it. We are looking forward to seeing some great pre-season football,� said McManus.

Please note that only High School League Passes will be accepted. Reserved seating is for those fans that have reserved seating passes. Reserved parking will only be available for those fans that have purchased a Broome football parking pass for the 2009 season.
