Tracing synthesizer pioneer Bob’s Moog’s life and career, examining pivotal junctures that led to the Moog synthesizer revolutionizing the face of music, this historical and personal journey draws on family archives and musical examples to inspire the audience.

Michelle Moog-Koussa is the third daughter of Bob and Shirleigh Moog. She has been the Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation since its inception in 2005. Working alone from her basement office for the first five years, compelled by the worldwide network of people inspired by Bob Moog’s life and work, she lifted the organization from a volunteer-driven grassroots effort with limited funding to the educational and historic preservation force that it is today.

Michelle’s favorite moments in her daily work are seeing elementary school children light up when discovering the power of sound through Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool, and witnessing visitors at the Moogseum engage with various aspects of the remarkable legacy of Bob Moog. It is her life’s work to bring Bob Moog’s legacy alive to inspire people of all ages to think more creatively about the world around them, whether through her work with the Foundation or through her public speaking.
