Animal Allies provides assistance to people who are interested in helping feral, unowned, and stray cats through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program.
Carolina Greyhound Connection is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization founded in 2002. We are dedicated to find loving homes for any Greyhound in need. Our organization is run comlpetely by volunteers.We don’t have a kennel, so our available hounds live in foster homes until they find forever homes. We can be found at the Petco in Spartanburg on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, so come out and meet the hounds!
Critter Connection is a 501(c)3 organization. We are concerned with the homeless animals in our community. We provide sanctuary until a permanent home is found. All animals are in foster homes. All are current on shots, spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
Animal Allies facilitates a low-cost spay/neuter program for cats and dogs. Our services are available to anyone who wants to spay/neuter their pet; however, our focus is on targeted surgeries for low-income families. FHGRR is a full service rescue dedicated to providing rescue and necessary veterinary care for unwanted, neglected, abused, homeless, and displaced golden retrievers. We strive to place our goldens in forever homes where they will receive a lifetime of love and care.
Greyhounds & Love, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization located in Anderson, SC, with representatives and foster home providers through out South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia. We are dedicated to making the plight of retired racing Greyhounds known to the public via education, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoptions into loving homes.
Greyhounds & Love, Inc. host regular meets-n-greets at PetsMart in Spartanburg, Greer, and Greenville, SC. Come visit the hounds and meet people owned by Greyhounds – this is a greyt chance to learn what wonderful companions these gentle and graceful canine atheletes are. But be prepared: they steal hearts with just one look from those soulful eyes!
AARRFF is in Cowpens, SC and affiliated Carolina Pet Rescue, and Ugly Dog Rescue (where only their pasts are ugly). We are a no-kill/limited-entry group; we believe and support the No More Homeless Pets and spay/neuter initiatives. All animals adopted from AARRFF are spayed or neutered before being placed. We provide sanctuary and rehabilitation and, when the right home comes along, rehome needy small dogs (and others when our volunteers can’t resist). We maintain a waiting list of homes and our efforts are funded solely through adoption fees and donations.
Two loops through the rolling farm country of Spartanburg County. The routes will consist of lightly traveled secondary roads and farm roads and be marked with directional arrows and paw prints!! ALL proceeds to benefit the Spartanburg Humane Society.
The Spartanburg Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare throughout Spartanburg and surrounding areas. The Societyworks to make our community a safer place for people to live, to prevent cruelty to animals, and to educate the public in proper animal care, especially the neutering of pets.
PomRescue is an ont-for-profit Pomeranian rescue in Duncan, SC that specializes in special needs and abused Pomeranians.
