Spartanburg is soaring! In 2014, Chapman Cultural Center is spearheading a community-wide initiative to build civic pride, promote cross-generational active play, and increase cultural vibrancy.
Over two dozen Partners and Sponsors have made this highly collaborative event a soaring success already, with plenty of events already planned or ongoing. The first major Spartanburg Soaring! event is a campus-wide kite exhibit at Chapman Cultural Center. The exhibit displays the multitude of kites by Spartanburg resident and kite enthusiast Chuck Holmes.
This life-long collection (and creation) will hang from the walls, the ceilings, and everywhere you can imagine, through April 30.
