Lunch & Learn: Black Blue Bloods

Join Spartanburg County Historical Association and author Christopher Williams on Friday, July 25, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in the west conference room at Chapman Cultural Center for a Lunch & Learn event.

Williams will discuss his new book and the journey of discovery that led him to write it. Black Blue Bloods tells the story of freed slaves who established a successful plantation in Fountain Inn after emancipation. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about a fascinating and little-known chapter in Upstate history!

Catered lunches will be available through Palmetto Palate, reserved in advance through SCHA’s online gift shop and at Spartanburg Regional History Museum. Tickets and a limited amount of lunches will be available at the door.

Tickets are $5 for entrance to the event or $15 for the event and lunch. Visit www.spartanburghistory.org/tickets to purchase in advance, or reserve at Spartanburg Regional History Museum in person or by phone at (864) 596-3501.
