Open Mic Night at the Forest Coffeehouse
Tuesdays
7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Each and every Tuesday night is Open Mic Night in The Forest. The music, stand-up comedy, singing, etc., starts at 7:00 pm and usually lasts until around 9:30. Past performances have included everything from the normal singing and performances with a guitar, to the more unusual Australian didgeridoo (also known as a didjeridu or didge, which is a wind instrument created by Indigenous Australians over 1500 years ago).
Local singing and guitar playing sensation Jacob Johnson emcees this event each week and it’s always a fun and entertaining time in The Forest. And the best part is . . . it’s free!
Come and enjoy yourself, but if you want to strut your stuff and show off on stage, get here around 6:00 pm to get on the list. Remember, it’s first come, first perform!
